Where roller pumps fit
Broadcast application, PTO driven units and anywhere you need flow at 100 psi or below. They are simple, inexpensive to rebuild and easy to live with.
What they do not like
Running dry, and abrasives. Rollers wear against the housing, so grit shortens their life considerably. Keep a suction strainer in good condition and never run the pump without prime.
