A PTO driven sprayer runs off your tractor's power take off. No second engine to start, fuel, winterise or repair, and no fuel can to carry.
Kings PTO sprayers are built on 3-point hitch and trailer frames from 50 to 300 gallons, with roller and diaphragm pumps sized to 540 RPM PTO output.
What you need on the tractor
A 540 RPM rear PTO and adequate horsepower for the pump you are driving. Roller pumps demand relatively little. Larger diaphragm pumps demand more. Tell us your tractor model and we will confirm the match.
Shaft safety
The PTO shaft must be sized so it neither bottoms out nor pulls apart through the full range of hitch travel. Shields must be intact and chains anchored. This is the most dangerous component on the machine and it deserves the attention.
Rate control
Because pump output follows engine speed, holding a consistent rate means holding consistent PTO speed. A pressure regulator is not optional on a PTO unit if application accuracy matters.
