When to move up from 100 gallons

If you refill more than twice a day, the time cost usually justifies the larger tank. If your properties are spread out, drive time saved is worth more than the fuel penalty of the extra weight.

Mounting considerations

A full 200 gallon tank is roughly 1,660 pounds of water. This size generally requires a three quarter ton truck or a dedicated trailer. Baffled tanks reduce load shift and are worth specifying for highway use.
