Who Knows Which Hose Goes?
Hoses are an integral part of sprayer equipment and the sprayers we build, and at Sprayer Depot we use and offer on our website four specialized, high-quality hose types to meet the diverse needs of the industries we serve. Not sure what the different hose types are called and their uses? Here's a short overview:
Agricultural (Ag) Hoses
Crafted from rugged PVC, these all-purpose hoses offer flexibility and kink resistance. They handle a variety of agricultural chemicals, including pesticides and fertilizers, with a high working pressure of up to 800 PSI. On all of our sprayer builds, our bright yellow ag hoses are easy to spot!
Clear-Braid Hoses
These lightweight, transparent hoses allow for easy visual inspection of fluid flow and are ideal for low-pressure applications such as transferring water, fertilizers, or other liquids. They feature a crystal clear spiraled polyester yarn reinforcement, a maximum operating pressure of 250 PSI and a temperature range from 25°F to 150°F.
Suction Hoses
Designed with PVC helix reinforcement, our suction hoses are non-collapsible and durable, with a maximum pressure of 65-85 PSI (depending on diameter) and a safe temperature range from -4°F to 150°F, making them suitable for transferring liquids from tanks or reservoirs to sprayers even in extreme weather.
High-Pressure Hoses
For high-pressure tasks you need a high-pressure hose. Reinforced with steel and capable of withstanding pressures up to 4500 PSI, these hoses are designed for pressure washing applications.
Choosing the appropriate hose type enhances the efficiency and safety of your spraying operations.
