If you’ve purchased a Hypro diaphragm pump from us in the past, you may notice something different on your next order: the label says AR—not Hypro.
Here’s why: For years, Hypro was the U.S. distributor for diaphragm pumps manufactured by Annovi Reverberi (AR), an Italian company known for building high-performance, long-lasting diaphragm pumps. Around 2020, AR began selling directly in North America, and Hypro stopped distributing these products.
So, while the name on the pump may have changed, the product hasn’t!
You're still getting the same pump, made in the same factory, with the same specs and parts. Whether it’s labeled Hypro or AR, it’s the exact model your sprayer was built for and the one you can count on.
On our website, you'll still see many Hypro models listed— we're still selling Hypro roller, centrifugal, and transfer pumps, and we keep Hypro/AR models in our store for ease of search. But note: the diaphragm pump you receive may be branded AR. We've added disclaimers where needed, and we're always happy to confirm compatibility if you have any questions.
