Roller pumps are a cost-effective choice for agricultural, landscape, and industrial spraying. They handle a wide range of fluids, making them versatile for field use. Popular with pest control pros and landscapers, they’re suited for insecticides, herbicides, liquid fertilizers, and more- though material compatibility varies by model.
How a Roller Pump Works
Understanding how a roller pump works helps you choose the right one: fluid enters through the inlet, is carried by small rollers (acting like a conveyor), and is then expelled. Most models have 4-8 rollers that rotate inside the housing to push the solution out through the nozzle. Be sure to consider the materials and construction of both the housing and rollers when selecting a pump.
